Rome, Italy

Rome, always a travel destination that I most desire to travel too. 10 years ago, I learned Rome in my first memory from a Hong Kong drama. I'm still remember the scene they casted in Rome, the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and The Vatican City. There're so happening when every romantic scene casting in Rome, especially Trevi Fountain.

Modern and old, past and present go side by side, all the time.
Rome wasn't built in a day and can't be seen in a day.

The Colosseum had make into only finalist from Europe to make it into
The New Seven Wonders in the world.
Once held up to 50,000 spectators who came to watch the gory games involving gladiators, wild animals, and prisoners.

Just outside the Coliseum is the Arch of Constantine (Arco di Costantino), a 25m high monument built in AD315 to mark the victory of Constantine over Maxentius at Pons Milvius.

Trevi Fountain, inspired by Roman triumphal arches, is the largest and most famous Baroque fountain in Rome (standing 25.9 meters high and 19.8 meters wide).
Tradition has it a coin thrown into the water guarantees a visitor's return to Rome.

Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps), once a year in the summertime, host a famous fashion show, and they are used as a catwalk.
The most glamorous Rome streets lead to Piazza di Spagna, is where to find the most prestigious boutiques such as Prada, Valentino, Gucci etc. It is an ideal starting point to shopping in Rome.

Tourist's travel to Rome isn't complete without visit to Vatican City, also known as the Holy City. It is considered to be the smallest independent state in the world, the home of Pope and the center of Catholicism.

Night Light Bridge St.Peters Basilica Vatican City

The Piazza Navona is a must-see attraction when visiting to Italy. Piazza Navona is a lively place with plenty of stylish restaurants, gelato (ice cream) bars, and everyday musical or artistic performance.

Lastly, a visit to Rome will allow you to discover the different historical layers which have built this beautiful city through the centuries.

I wish to go every islands in the world. The color of sea, the blue sky and the sound of wave make my mind calm and make me happy. I am just a simple person.

I knew this island on a magazine, and I been attracted with it beauty. With endless beaches of powdery-white sand, long happy hours, abundance of restaurants and hotels to suit all budgets, and plenty of watersports, Boracay is the party island.

It is very rich in it's beautiful natural resources from the different diving spots to the 4km white sand beach. The people are very warm with their hospitality and their kindness. There are many thing can do at there like water sports activities which includes parasailing, kite boarding, kite surfing, banana boating and other.

At only 4.5 miles long, Boracay is small enough to navigate by rented bicycle or motorbike. But don't let its small size fool you—you'll have several excellent beaches to choose from. Yapak Beach is known for beautiful white shells; White Beach has picture-perfect sunsets; and Balinghai Beach is a secluded spot, perfect for honeymooners. As long as you visit during dry season, you'll agree this is one of the best beach destinations in the world.

You can choose from different international cuisines like thailand, korean, japanese, indian, greek, and famous filipino dishes. After all the sports, indulge in a luxurious massage right on the beach or at one of the spas. Enjoy a healthy fruit shake at Jonah’s. Take a relaxing dip at the infinity pool of the Shangri-La Resort and Spa, with its mesmerizing view of the sea. Shop for shell jewelry. And when the sun goes down, you can head to any of Boracay’s bars for a taste of the island nightlife. Cocktails, draft beer, and imported ales flow nightly as live bands and pounding disco music entertain you.
Most importantly, don’t forget to soak up some rays and lounge around on the fine white sand that made Boracay famous.

Finally, last picture of this post, the sunset of Borocay Island.

Brazil

Brazil, tourism is becoming a major industry, especially Brazil is the host for 2014 FIFA World Cup. Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo are two of the most visited destinations in the country, offering visitors (whether in the country on business or pleasure) a fabulous peek into the complex heritage and natural spectacle of Brazil.

This is Brazil
Honestly, I do not have any impression about Brazil until I watched one of the famous series movies Fast and Furious 5 where casted at Rio, Brazil. Okay, film or drama casting destinations had affected me a lot on choosing travel destinations, since my hobby was watching movies. I remembered that Dom had said something that I remember until now which is ''This is Brazil !''

Christ the Redeemer

Christ the Redeemer was the landmark of Rio and Brazil. Christ the Redeemer is the famous statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro. Located at the peak of the 700 meters (2,300 ft) Corcovado mountain, it provides a sweeping panorama from the interior of Guanabara bay to the north, to Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas to the south. The Christ the Redeemer statue stands 39.6 meters (130 ft) tall, including its 9.5 meters (31 ft) pedestal and has become an icon of Rio and Brazil. It also listed as the New 7 Wonders in the world.

Iguazu Falls

The semicircular waterfall at the heart of this site is some 80 m high and 2,700 m in diameter and is situated on a basaltic line spanning the border between Argentina and Brazil. Made up of many cascades producing vast sprays of water, it is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. The surrounding subtropical rainforest has over 2,000 species of vascular plants and is home to the typical wildlife of the region: tapirs, giant anteaters, howler monkeys, ocelots, jaguars and caymans.

The Amazon River

Amazon River is the second longest river in the world, just slightly shorter than the Nile, and the largest river by volume. The Amazon has over 3,000 recognized species of fish and new species are still being discovered. The Amazon Basin is covered by half of the planet’s remaining rainforests. Although a tenth of the world’s estimated 10 million living species live in the Amazon rainforest, jungle tours are more about the boating upriver into the damp, buzzing, oppressive ambience than actually spotting animals.

Rio Carnival

Never miss one of the hottest carnival of the world, it is Rio Carnival. There are carnival celebrations in virtually every corner of Brazil, the best-known ones taking place in Recife together with the neighboring Olinda and Salvador. But the biggest and most famous carnival is undoubtedly the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. The Rio Carnival attracts two million people per day on the streets and almost half a million foreigners during its 4 day celebration. The Carnival is all over the place, in the streets and squares, bars, clubs and all other venues in Rio, concluding in the spectacular Rio Samba Parade at the Sambadrome.

Let explore this hot and beautiful country.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands (also known as Holland)

Amsterdam is one of the greatest small cities in the world. From its canals to world-famous museums and historical sights, Amsterdam is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe.

Amsterdam is also a city of tolerance and diversity. It has all the advantages of a big city: culture, nightlife, international restaurants, good transport - but is quiet, and largely thanks to its extensive canals, has a little road traffic. In Amsterdam your destination is never far away, but get a bike for an authentic local experience.

Canal Belt
Amsterdam continues to look good on a postcard (or Instagram), largely thanks to its 400-year-old waterways, which are criss-crossed with a host of bridges that outnumber those in Venice. A word on those famous canals: Singel was the medieval city moat. The connecting canals and streets, originally home to workers and artisans, have a number of cafés and shops.

Explore Amsterdam’s parks and canals (on skates)

If you enjoy skating, you'll love Amsterdam. Traditionally in winter, the frozen canals provide a playground for ice-skating locals. Fearless skaters whoosh along narrow city canals at the marathon-style event of Elfstedentocht – a 200km race around Friesland. But due to warm conditions, the race hasn't been held since 1997. In summer, you'll find locals and tourists alike skating through the park. All year round, at 9pm on a Friday night, a group of skating enthusiasts meet opposite in the the Vondelpark to join a 20km, three-hour tour through the night streets. It's called, imaginatively enough, Friday Night Skate and its final destination is the pub.

    Rijksmuseum
The Rijksmuseum, which in English means – The State Museum, exists for more that two hundred years and today belongs to the most breathtaking museums in the world. During its existence, the museum went through many transformations and remains now, especially after its complete renovation, the attraction you should not miss during your trip to the Netherlands

Grab vintage shopping finds and local food – at an Amsterdam market

Visit the flea markets to discover the multi-ethnic spirit of Amsterdam. The most famous is the Albert Cuypmarkt, a large general market that snakes through the heart of Pijp. It offers a great insight into Dutch life, selling everything from smoked eel to Surinamese sherbets.

Open all year round, the floating flower market is where you can find a spectrum of beautiful flowers as well as iconic tulips and bulbs. Bold colours throughout the shop make for a scenic walk. If you’re planning a trip in winter, Christmas trees are also on sale during holiday months.

When it comes to nightlife in Amsterdam, there are venues, dance festivals and club nights to suit every taste. DJs keep the crowd going with everything from techno, dub step and trance to hip-hop, funk and deep house. Some of the most well-known venues include ParadisoMelkwegBitterzoetClub UpTrouwAIR and Escape.

Whichever way the wind happens to be blowing on your visit, one thing's for certain: Amsterdam will continue to grow, as it has done since 1200, whether literally or metaphorically.

      The Louvre, Paris

This time I will just focus on Louvre, where located at Paris. Other tourist might wanted to go Paris for the Eiffel Tower, but I'm not. I want to visit Louvre so much, and next only Eiffel Tower. In French, Louvre is  Musée du Louvre

The Louvre, originally a royal palace but now the world's most famous museum, is a must-visit for anyone with a slight interest in art. Some of the museum's most celebrated works of art include the Mona Lisa and the Venus of Milo.

The Louvre Museum is one of the largest and most important museums in the world. It is housed in the expansive Louvre Palace, situated in the 1st arrondissement, at the heart of Paris.

The collection of the Louvre Museum was first established in the 16th century as the private collection of King Francis I. One of the works of art he purchased was the now famous Mona Lisa painting. The collection grew steadily thanks to donations and purchases by the kings. In 1793, during the French Revolution, the Louvre became a national art museum and the private royal collection opened to the public.

      Mona Lisa Painting
The museum has a collection of over 1 million works of art, of which about 35 000 are on display, spread out over three wings of the former palace. The museum has a diverse collection ranging from the Antiquity up to the mid 19th century.

Some of the most famous works of art in the museum are the Venus of Milo, the Nike of Samothrake, the Dying Slave by Michelangelo and of course Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa.

      Dying Slave
      Venus de Milo

This museum was actually built as a living space for Philip II and some remains of its original form are still present. A lot of structural changes have been made to give the Louvre its present look. The museum was inaugurated in 1739. However, due to some infrastructural problems, it was shut down for a period of almost five years.

      Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss

After entering the museum through the Louvre Pyramid or via the Carrousel du Louvre, you have access to three large wings: Sully, Richelieu and Denon. Below a brief description of the highlights in each wing.

The most recent addition to the Louvre was the construction of the Louvre Pyramid, which functions as the museum's main entrance. The pyramid was built in 1989 by the renowned American architect I.M. Pei. The glass pyramid allows the sunlight to enter the underground floor.

The modern addition originally received mixed reviews, as it contrasts sharply with the classical design of the surrounding buildings, but today it is generally accepted as a clever solution which has given the museum a spacious central entrance without the need to touch the historic patrimony.

The museum has a very rich heritage that has made the French very proud and kept visitors coming through its doors.
